Credit card on file question...

No, this is not like the other topic that is up. Last week I received a new credit card in the mail from my credit union. Apparently there was some sort of security breach or something so they just issued everyone a new card. The question that I have is that since this is the one I have on file at GB do I need to send in my new card # or will it automatically carry over from my old one? If your card expires do they send you an email or does your account automatically stop?
