I know these are rare, I sold mine couple of years ago for $3k, and it was in lot better shape than this one is(98-99%), it had cokes too [:)]

BTW- Know what the difference is between a 29 and a 29-1? They changed the threads on the ejector rod to left handed so as to be less likely to come loose during firing.

The -1 versions of the N frames were only made for about one year (1961) so they are desired by collectors. As a shooter and not a collector, I would not pay even one dollar more for 29-1 over a similar 29-2. But I know some collectors absolutely lose their minds over such things. Note the 3K for a 29-1 related by nutfinn.
BTW- Know what the difference is between a 29 and a 29-1? They changed the threads on the ejector rod to left handed so as to be less likely to come loose during firing.
