Rangers are getting new Berets.

Tan. I'm glad they get to keep a symbol of their elitism. I did not, and still don't, want the black beret. I didn't earn it.I read this in an article in "Soldiers" magazine.

    That's old news. A klinton dod jerk decided to make all soldiers "feel good" and let them wear the coveted black beret. Previously this was worn only by the elite Army Rangers.It's just more klintonesque bs to demoralize the armed forces.To make matters worse the klinton traitors gave the contract for the new berets to the Chinese.

    I know the black berets are old news, but this is the first I'd heard of the Rangers getting new, tan berets.

    SF do wear green.Rangers (Rangers are elite infantry soldiers, not SF) now wear tan (used to be black).Airborne wears maroon.When not in the field, most all other soldiers wear black.

    The Marines are getting new uniforms Jan 17th. They're abandoning the traditional camo pattern for small printed squares in camo colors. Supposedly the small squares blend in better to the background from a distance. No pics yet, but here's the story. http://www.cnn.com/2002/US/01/14/marines.uniforms/index.html

    But dano, why are you getting so angry? Do you need anger management/conflict resolution classes? Don't you see the spirit of togetherness, warm-and-fuzzy, we're-all-equal here? Surely that's much more important than recognizing individual accomplishment and hard work!PUKE!!!!And to all those new-world-order scum that say, "It's just a symbol!     PEOPLE, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION!Yes the black beret to all soldiers is old news. Everybody agrees that it was a bad move, but it has been done.I'M TALKING ABOUT THE RANGERS GETTING NEW, TAN BERETS!Sometimes, I get sooooooo frustrated.
