do business with some one who has about 40 A's and 5 F's? The F's were all for the same type of item. Rosie

Have a savage model 220 slug gun with camo stock that I have no use for, have 450 in it. Guy offering lady smith cherry wood grip .38 for trade. Would you take it?

I haven't done business with anybody who has an F, yet. If the item was something I REALLY wanted, though, I would consider it. I like to use PayPal anyway, so I think I could rescind my payment if the seller screwed me.

Some sellers are jerks and some buyers are jerks. An "F" could come from someone who didn't get EXACTLY what he thought he should. That's a risk of buying online. I'm sure that your definition of "good" condition is different than mine. You trap shoot. I hunt and plink. We have different standards. I have one rifle with a scope on it out of MMMPPHH number of rifles. I like peep sights and stock iron sights. If I can hit a 4" circle offhand at 100 yards, I'm happy. You might want a 3/4" group off sandbags with a .22. Some folks here say they can do that. I can't. If a guy with a few "F's" had something I wanted, I'd bid, right off, the most I was willing to pay. And live with it, unless it was an outright lie, like a rust pile or a different model, or didn't work, etc.

F feedback is inevitable if you sell enough items. While most people in the world are good folks there are some people out there that you cannot please no matter what you do.What I always do is look at the seller's feedback (good and bad) and for any negative comments look at the feedback of the person who posted the negative comments.

Rosie.. If it were me looking at a seller with 5 F's Im afraid I would have my reservations as you do for if you didnt you wouldnt have made the post. If it were say 1 or 2 out of 40 I would probably feel good. But if you look at the other side of the coin.. No feedback or minimal at best what would you do. If you feel good bid and good luck. if you dont, better luck on the next item. PS: Rosie Im new to GB but have bought alot on gb auctions and made some good deals through their forums. If I was still skeptical.. I would ask for a phone# and talk to the person. Sincerely Kidd
