    they don't workthey only get opinions from people who have no sence of security,time to talk on the phone.are downtown at lunch hour,the mall, or any other easily selected demograghic sight.I'm an amature but if you tell me what results you want I'd bet I could get themby sending my people to the right place at the right time

    I've always had the theory that polls are naturally skewed toward the liberal side because liberals have the time and inclination to yak with the pollsters, while conservatives are cantankerous people with valuable time who are more likely to hang up the phone or pass the pollster by in a mall. Zogby found a solution to that by correcting his sample for the known fraction of Republican / Democrat registered voters in an area.

    Polls takers are like accountants. You ask what do you want it to look like and then they produce it for you.
