New Alamo movie

I just saw a few seconds of an ad for the new Alamo movie. I think I saw Billy Bob Thornton decked out as one of the defenders.
I hope it is a good movie. I am fascinated with this story.
I visited the Alamo one time, not much to see. Most of the old fort is gone.

    The Alamo in San Antonio is a shrine, but little of the original structure remains.

    If you want to see it more as it was, go to the Happy Shahan ranch near Brackettville, Texas and see Alamo Village. It is a movie set, originally built for the 1959 John Wayne Alamo movie.

    Was at Ft.Sam in 1966, went to see the Alamo...... When we got to it, thought it was a joke..(someone gave us a joke address) Did not look like the movie[:I] lots of junk stands around selling pop, blankets, toys, Davey Crockett hats. Only thing that saved the day was going to the River Walk...[8D]

    Not long ago i saw someone on TV talking about the Alamo.They said more people visit the Alamo movie site every year than the real Alamo.
