Read an article about goose hunting in Minnesota using these long barreled shotguns designed by a local. Said they were shooting subsonic shells (??) that stated they were nearly silent when fired. Interesting[:0]

What was that shotgun they used many years ago, that could kill like 50 ducks at once???? I saw a picture of it in a museum in Virginia. It took two people to hold it.I will see if I can find a picture.Oakie

The long barrel is called a metro barrel and is made to be used in small ponds and slews that are near suburban areas. The outfit making them is MN, I think somewhere on the outskirts of the twin cities. They advertised in a small local outdoor magazine that I used to get. I will see if I can dig up the ad.
