Twenty Nine LIVE Rounds

This morning I'm trying to wake up and relax watching the local news when I hear something said about a man who went on a shooting spree here in Virginia. I can't recall the exact details but the link to the story is below. What got my attention was they were saying something like his place was searched and Twenty Nine LIVE Rounds were found. A little while later I am listening to a radio news broadcast and I hear the same thing: Twenty Nine LIVE Rounds were found. No, the bad guy did not use a mortar launcher, he used a handgun. Of course nothing is said that LIVE rounds were used by a couple of students and thier handguns to stop the man. That is after retrieving them from thier vehicles. http://abcnews.go.com/sections/us/DailyNews/lawschoolshooting020116.html

That happened not too far from me in Grundy,Virginia. The local news has been trying to make a big deal about having 29 rounds in his home. Trying to make it sound like anyone with that much ammo must be some kind of psycopath. They make me sick and tomorrow I am going to call thier studio in Bluefield WV and tell them so. Oh......forgot to say I heard it on WVVA TV channel 6. I dont even normally listen to them fools but I heard it while at my girlfriends house.

It's pretty scary when you hear on the TV a big deal being made over LIVE amunition. And twenty nine rounds! So many! Lightning, my wifes parents are from the Bluefield area, I think they are from Jenkin Jones and Pageton. She spent her summers there growing up at her grandparents. She has been trying to get me to take her there to show me how beautiful it is.

If 29 LIVE rounds of ammunition is so terrible, than what are the average among us that can probably add at least three zeros to thaat?????????????
The second admendment GUARANTEES the other nine and the Constitution!

Let's see...buy a box of shells, that's 50 LIVE rounds. Use 21 LIVE rounds to go on a murderous rampage. That leaves 29 LIVE rounds remaining. So the F**k what?I've got a good 1000 12 gauge, 300 20 gauge, 200 30-06, 100 .357 LIVE rounds. Am I a crook yet? How about those LIVE rounds that I have in my glove box.

Ya you have to be crazy to only have 29 live rounds, what the heck can you do with that. Nothing, I personally think that if you don't keep at least 50rds of ammunition for at least one gun you have your nuts and belong in a looney bin. I personally have several thousand rounds of ammo for vaious guns. And on most trips to the range I probably shoot off several hundred rounds of ammunition just through the two or three guns I decide to shoot that day.

I see that as a good thing. It means he only brought 21 rounds for his shooting spree (does that qualify as a shooting spree?)instead of 50.
