my neighbor was a good man, he has been in a very nice nursing home since earlier this year, she visited him every single day, i was tending to their lawn till his wife hired someone because i refused any payment, know them for 11 years

Ronald ********, age 79, of *******, IL, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at ********, IL. Ron was born on December 16, 1936 in East St. Louis, IL, a son of the late Isaac ******** and Veda (********.
Ron was a United States Air Force veteran who proudly served his country. On October 3, 1959, Ron married ********, the love of his life in Virginia. He had retired from the ******** Southern Railroad as a conductor after many years of dedicated service. Ron was a member of ******** Masonic Lodge #877, Shriner at Ainad Temple in ******** , IL and a member of the Royal Order of Jesters, Southern Illinois Court #86. He enjoyed fishing and Ron was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. His greatest joy was spending time with family, especially with his grandchildren, whom he was very proud of. Ron will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his brothers, ********,********,********.
He is survived by his devoted wife, ******** of ********, IL; loving children, D******** of ********, MO, ******** of ********, IL and********of ********, IL; proud grandfather to ********;********,********,******** many dear nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2016 at ******** , ******** , ******** , IL.
In celebration of his life, funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at ******** , with Rev.******** officiating. ******** , IL. Interment with military honors will be in Lake View Memorial , ******** , IL.
