Hey, what's up? It's good to see you back here posting. Haven't seen you here in awhile, and was wanting to pick your brain about some hard cast hi-power loads for the guide gun. Happened to see your reply on a similar topic on another forum. Anyway, good to see some "old-timer's" from here posting again.

Some people just shouldn't be allowed to breed

Hey buddy, You got some bull crap info. from Bear Claw on the other site, about your 1917, I dont know what he was talking about, but the Winchester is genrally the most desireable, followed by the Remington and then the Eddysotne, and there is a bird bath, as he called it, on my Eddystone, as he said the Winchester gun has, so I think this guy is just some idiot who knows nothing of what hes talking about. You know I dont generally talk badly about someone, that is why I told you here, I dont think its worth my time to register on that site, I use it as info. only at this time, maybe later I'll register.

I generally take most things with a grain of salt anyway. I'll be kind and say that there are usually regional variations in price also. Ex. In Wyoming a .243 Rem 7400 would make a good boat anchor...where in Wisconsin it is a valued item. I paid $250 for my P-17...offered $400 cash at a gun show a couple weeks later. I think I came out alright. I am a collector and dont plan on selling it anyway. I tend to use the auctions here and at AA to doublecheck what I think a gun is worth also. Thanks for the headsup sir, and appreciate it. regards swede
