Big boom????

Pittsfield, Massachusetts-AP -- Something went boom yesterday -- and people in four states are wondering just what it was.Some people also spotted something in the sky yesterday afternoon.Calls to emergency officials in western Massachusetts described a fireball, a sonic boom and an explosion.There were similar reports in Vermont, New York and Connecticut.The Federal Aviation Administration has ruled out a plane crash. And the National Weather Service says it has no weather-related explanation.One astronomer guesses a meteoroid was likely the cause for all the commotion.
