this isnt really my concern since i was not a seal nor in the military at all but the website www.cyberseals.org exposes "fake" navy seals on thier "wall of shame." some of the stories of these jokers include a member of the "Power Team" {christians who lift heavy stuff for God} and some pervert who claims to be a retired navy seal on his internet "swingers" {ya' know wife swapping} classified ad. thier are several teachers, dr's, and leo's on this list as well. by the way if you are a guy pretending to be a navy seal- "they" will find you. God bless our special forces and all military personal! Happy Flag day sat. june 15!

Was confronted by a man claiming to be a Vietnam vet.
I told him how well did he do as he must have been in diapers. He looked to be 35 years old, and I told him, I was on my way to the war when it was over and didn't appreciate the fact he didn't have any idea what I and all the others went through, and all the freinds of mine who didn't return left behind. I wanted to kick his *.

I see a lot of guys wearing Navy Seal hats, jackets and t-shirts. Are there that many Seals or are they just fad fashions?

I guess people buy the shirts on sites like this or catalogs like us cavalry and stuff. I refuse to wear any of those shirts for the simple fact that I didn't earn the right to wear it. I think some of the marine shirts are very cool, and would love to have a ton of them...but I was never a marine, so I'll just leave it for those tough sons of bitches that are.

Anybody can be anything they want on the internet.

I've seen people wearing Seal Team 3 hats, etc. and wonder if they even have a clue as to how hard it is to become a Seal.

The Seals are tough SOB's, and they have the necessary tools to find the fakers in person and on the net. I admire them and the other Special Operations people.

I serve on a state board for vets. You can't beleave the stories I've heard. The bad part is you become a sceptic. Here is kind of a cute story. I was having an after work beverage and discussing verious world topics, the subject of the Navy came up. The vet I was vising with said "well you were a seal , wern't you"? I said "no" I was the ships cook. "Really, I've never met a soilor that wasn't a seal". Then he added" But you cooked for the seals" Didn't you?

While a transit in the CPO Qtrs, Subic Bay P.I. for a month I had a Seal for a roommate. Thats all I can tell you about him he never spoke to all the time I was there.
    End of my Seal knowledge.
