Al Gore

After watching the aftermath of the WTC attack, it is my personal opinion that there is no way that a President Gore and the cabinet he would have appointed could have brought the country into a wartime footing that we presently have. Also notice that Slick Willie has come out of his personal bunker and is making a few tv appearances.11thcanopy---503rd Abn Inf Regt, 1954/57

The news was just on the radio that Al Gore was in Florida today for the first time since the election officially went to the rightful winner. He was there to talk about the issues and take on Bush's
policy on certain items. My first thought was who really cares what that moron thinks about anything......

Gore and Billary are lame ducks. I doubt that they will be nothing more than a laughing matter by the end of the year. Sept. 11 has woken up quite a few minds. The Democrats have done their best to throw everything they can against the wall in hopes that something will stick. Nothing has so far. Bush has earned QUITE a bit of political capital. I have strong feelings that he is waiting for the right moment to blow the whole load and finally lay some of this poor Democratic leadership to permanant rest.

We should never forget the "general" stupidity of the American voter. The majority of people in this nation do not have the outlook that many who post here have and that has shown in election after election after election, at local, state and national level. Look at how close the last Presidential Election was and who the prior IDIOT in the White House was, TWICE! Don't for a minute think it can't and won't happen again. Does anyone think there has been some miraculous turn around in the American people that suddently caused them to see how full of sh*t and morally bankrupt the "left leaning" crowd is.

    If it were only true!!!!!

Good post It496. But you might want to consider the ballot box stuffing going on in Bahston, NYC, philly, bawlmore, chicago, detroit and other cities with corrupt democrap leaders.

The worse part of this is, we will have to hear/see Al Gore in the future. It's pathetic but Al does not realize that we do not want him.
Imagine what it would be like if he was in office?

I do not want to get stoned for what I am about to say. I am certainly glad Bush is in the White House and not Al Gore. What concerns me is what appears to be an aquiescing of Bush to the Democrats on issues. If the Dem's start harping on something and getting a lot of press and news coverage out of it, Bush will start caving and move in their direction. The Israile and Palistine thing is typical. We have no business telling the Jews how to protect themselves when we are doing the same thing in Afganistan. I think they have shown great restraint, when they should have blown that Ringo Starr look-a-like off the face of the earth. There are a number of other issues on which he has caved and started playing politics. I am concerned that he is going to lose some of his base.
And DO NOT underestimate Hillary, she is far smarter than BIll and Al. I think she is biding her time, and it would scare the Hell out of you the number of women that will vote for her, even older conservative types who would not vote for a man of her caliber. We need to watch out for her in 2004.

Somebody said he's not going to run, he's only good for raising liberal money. I hope he's not very good at that either.

WAAHHHHH , WAAAAHHHH, WAAAAHHHHHHHHHH. This is a political thread, and should not be in the General Discussion. If you are going to talk politics, please do it in the "politics" forum. I just get so upset when I see politics bering discussed in general discussion. It just aint right.

    I feel your pain, Gordian.

We're supposed to be respected by the rest of the country now?

And it's not going to get any better while our two options are a Republicrat like Pataki and an out and out Democrap like Cuomo.

I'm not going to even entertain the idea of Carl McCall being our governor. That cretin plays the race card at every opportunity, and you can tell he's got no use for us ridiculous Republican white folks.

I'm just glad I dont have any real roots here. I'd pack up and leave at the first opportunity.

Hey William 81.......stop being so personal in your attack. Go and back and read a thread on political discussion that came up over the last few days. Salzo would have written what he wrote to anybody who started another political discussion of any persuasion. I'm sure it had little if anything to do with you. You might want to consider growing a little thicker skin. When I read salzo's comments I knew they had zero, nada, nothing and zip to do with your thoughts(most people do consider Al Gore to be irrelevant) they were directed at a ridiculous posting postulating that no political discussions should occur on the general discussion forum....and from what most of us know of salzo, he seems to have a pretty good life. Take care Beach.

    Ghee, Al Gore??

I didn't think anyone here would listen to anything he might have to say, much lees, even give him the honor of posting anything about him on our sacred board.

I got to agree with Salzo, gores name belongs in the politics category with the other 40 topics.

It will help keep the General Discussion Board from being overloaded with garvage, and make room for moe important topics of conversation.

He talked about preserving "civil rights" - except maybe perhaps the "breathing living constitutional document" and 2nd amendments. He is a liar, a thief of words and a tyranist. Much like the Devil!

    beachmaster, salzo:

I'm not backing up william here, but from my limited perspective, it doeslook like you guys do have a tendency to swoop-in in a pack whenever someone talks ill of one of the group, if you know what I mean.

Often whiteclouder gets tossed into the mix. Theres an ingredient sure to make anything intractably bitter.

Dont get me wrong Salzo and beach, I'm not putting either of you two down and I'm definitely not jonesing for a pissing-match here. I didnt come to fight, and Lord knows I've got enough to fight about already.

I'm just making a limited observation. Take it for what it's worth.

bullzeye......without resorting to "xenophobic jingoism" Just read salzo's initial thread. Actually it was a pretty funny put down to that other thread expressing a desire to rid the board of any political discussion. When I read it I chuckled and I knew it didn't have anything to do with William81's thread. I have to think it it was William81 who mistook the intent of salzo's remarks. Now having said that salzo and I have disagreed more than a few times, I once was Number 1 on Clouder'* parade. We don't join in a pack to put anyone down ....if they already are doing something a little off key then they should stand by for observations from others who may disagree.
I actually thought your comments on the Middle East were a little baiting and off base but certainly I'll not throw the stones at you I keep for stanman. You at least will listen and usually comment constructively on the arguments. Beach

    Bullzeye,

Sey there, wait one minute there, hold it, up.

If you are refereng to me and others, as the pack, I doth protest, as I, myself know that is not true, intractably I never show any tendencies to join anything (although I did ask Hedog if he would accept a turbo duck, on his thread).

I am pointing out that there were only 40 topics posted on an easy to get into forum. It's a perfect site for the beta algores of the world.

Besides, most everyone on this thread can be characterized as, "alpha rogues".

    25-06,
If you're in any danger of getting stoned, I'll be right there with you. G.W. Bush would have been considered a left-winger only a few years ago. Republicans like McCain and Shays are Democraps in disguise, trying to solve everything with new laws. I will continue to vote for the Socialists hiding under the elephant until there are some real Constitutionalists that can win. I'm not gonna throw a vote to the likes of Bill Clinton for dreams of someone like Ross Pero. I do disagree with you on Isreal though. We send $6.5 billion a year to them and they do nothing for us. I say let them rot. It's not our business.

Clouder...we did settle our differences long long ago. Even back then you had to slap down the occasional porch puppy. I brought it up to show some of the newer members that even we got on each others nerves more than a few times. And admittedly I was very very obnoxious back then as opposed to just very obnoxious now. I have found over the last couple of years though you manage to accurately gauge a person's character about 97% of the time which is better than the rest of us here. I'd have given you 100% accuracy but I think bullzeye still has potential. In any case your writing makes reading stuff on this forum one of the more enjoyable of the day's activities. Beach
