This reminds me of what the Blackhawk crew chief said about the Chinook. It seems that the Chinook is one hell of a leaker. If some fluid isn't leaking somewhere on that bird then something is wrong with it and it shouldn't be flown.

Yeah, I've seen that before, but in a slightly different context.I laughed the first time, and I laughed again this time.I want to apologize for my draconian stand on that last joke. It just really hit a nerve for me, being that I know what it's like to be physically abused by a cop. It wasnt funny to me when I was 16 when I was the one bruised, hogtied, and face down in the grass on the side of Route 20.But that's not your fault. I shouldnt have reacted so vehemently as I did. And I apologize for anyone I offended.

Bullzeye,Don't give it a second thought. I too would appoligize if I hit a nerve. I've seen a few bad cops, but they are pretty rare. I'm sorry you got tangled up with one.

This is actually and Air Force list that has been out since about 1994. Proof? Qantas doesn't have IFF's(identify friend or foe) on their aircraft. Still damn funny ain't it? I espacially like that "evidence removed" thing.

will270win....actually I do think they have mode 3 IFF transponders. They don't have interogaters on their aircraft but every commercial aircraft has a mode 3 squak. My info is a little dated but in the Navy when our radars swept commercial aircraft they came back with a 7000 sweep(with the 000 numbers to indicate airline and flight) identifying them as commercial airliners....I believe that they even had a code 7777 to indicate passively to any one interrogating them that the airliner had been hijacked.
