Going on a motorcycle trip memorial weekened, going thru Kansas, stopping in Witchita, then down to Lake Norfork in Northwest Arkansas for some fishing. Anyone care to join, or at least meet over coffee?

Wish I could, bro. Wish I could. Be careful. Keep the chrome side up.

The wife and I are talking about doing another bike trip to Colorado this summer. Spent three weeks riding the state in 1996. One of my all-time best motorcycle vacations. If I get out that way we should try to meet up.

LowRider.....his motorcycle doesn't have chrome. It's one of THOSE. Besides, he might require you to interview to see if you're worthy of riding with him. That's another story.

Axelrfan, I live out in the country near Wichita and Ride a Harley, I have a mother-in-law that lives in Mountain home Arkansas. I have all of my vacation scheduled for the year or the wife and I would meet up with you and have a go at Arkansas. Where are you going to stay when in Wichita, If it works out I would have a cup with you. A.M. or P.M.? I have the weekend duty on Memorial Weekend and can't venture far from the pager tower or I would ride a little ways that way with you....Let me know your plans and I will give you my e-mail address...OTO

Mudge: my cycle most certainly does have chrome on it. and ive never begrudged someone for riding a Harley...heck i used to have one myself, but the damn thing never ran right and always needed tinkering...i want something that needs as little maintenance as possible. besides, my cd changer skips like mad on a harley...lol..now, what i wanna know is how do you know what i ride, and whats this other story about interviewing to determine if someones worthy or not?

Oto....staying with a friend near Kellogg st and the hiway on south side of town...will be there late friday evening and all day saturday...leaving sun am for the lake

Mr. Axlerfan......I know what you ride because you told me. A rice-burner. As for the "interview to see if one is worthy", let me refresh your memory.....COMPENSATED COLT COMMANDER
    .....nuff said?
OTO....has nothing to do with what he rides. I'll ride with anyone on 2 wheels. Goes a bit deeper than that. Like I said....
    another story!

Mudge...ah i remember you now...used a different name then i think tho. yes its true, i ride a rice burner...one that has not let me down once in 90k miles. i do however think maybe you got it wrong about interviewing to see is someone is worthy to ride with me...not what i said. if you recall, i said i wont sell any of my "toys" to someone unless i get to know a little about them first. has nothing to do with being worthy, has everything to do knowing that the item will be appreciated. you said you wanted my colt for carry purposes, and thats what gave me 2nd thoughts about selling it. since we never had a deal or a contract , i didnt sell it. also if you recall, you said you were not interested in paying more than about 700 for one, and i was not interested in selling my colt at that price. please, try to publish all the facts next time. have a great day, and i hope you enjoy your memorial weekend.

Dan...Excuse me but you're the one with the wrong "facts".
Does this excerpt look familiar? It's from you to me.
....right person depends on what you want it for, what kind of guns you collect, how long, what interests you, etc...as for how much, like i said, depends....700 is a bit low, if i remember i beleive they were a bit more than that new...friend says he wont sell his, changed his mind bout it....as for mine, well, lemme think on it. im not an ffl, just someone with a taste for nice toys.

"what you want it for, what kind of guns you collect", etc. sure sounds like an "audition for worthiness" to me.

    And I offered you $800.

Mudge...Call it what you want to...makes no difference to me. My mistake on your offer...regardless tho, i didnt sell it to you because i changed my mind about getting rid of it. I felt i would rather have it sit in my safe and not get used than to sell it to someone who was going to shoot it. No judging of your worthiness was involved at all. and as you were so kind to quote from my email to you A YEAR AGO, yes i like to know whos getting my guns. told you i like to know they will be appreciated. never said you wouldnt appreciate the thing. im sure you would... If you are still upset over not getting my pistol, perhaps you should seek counselling to over come your feelings of loss, anger and hurt. either that, or , get over it and quit being petty. why start a fight over something you never had? if you dont like me, well so be it...just say so, and life goes on. if you dont have a huge problem with me, then, id like to invite you to swing by either wichita or lake norfork and say howdy...perhaps do some fishin with us...ill have 2 extra rods with me. have a great day.
