    when I was a kid about 1969 ( I was about 12 ) or so I remember a AMC commercial where dad had bought a new Javelin or AMX ?
    the son rolls up in it but highly modified with a blower set up to drag race the dad can not believe and calls for mom to see how the car was ruined the kid reply's I made it better and got rid of the excess weight
    I only seen it once and have not been able to find it on the internet
    but have found where many others are searching for it also
    its stuck in my mind all these years
