Lever guns

i recently read the G&A article on the new . 308 marlin special that was designed to give lever guns longer than 200 yrd performance.
one of the points that they made in the article is that the relatively short action of lever guns limits the types of rounds they are chambered in. . . . well my hypothesis/sugestion; with the introduction of the new hornaday lererevolution rounds at there helm, why doesn't someone chamber a lever gun in the short or super short magnums that are flooding the scene now? is this possible or is the action to week?
another hypothesis . .. why not chamber a lever gun in.500 S&W or the newer .460XVR. they would make great brush guns out to 100 yards pluss?
i work in a prison so i have alot of time to think . . .this is the stuff i come up with [:D]

first one is a 1979 or 1980 winchester 22 magnum lever action. This one is a collector, probably 99%, blue is perfect, front wood is perfect, some really minor mars on the back stock, will see what kind of pics I can get.
scnd one is a winchester 94AE 44 magnum this one is the 16" barrel length, very handy little rifle, shoots good, no rust, does have a few scratches on the mag tube and some heavier marks in the stock. I'd call it a good clean shooter, not a collector.
then I have a couple marlin 336's in 35 remington, full length. one is a safe queen almost perfect, the other is extremely rough but shoots good.
let me know if anybody is particularly interested, might motivate me to try and get them listed sooner.,
some more Marlins
Winchesters and a couple others

if it was worth it would have had bids ( again just me )
look for similar ones for sale or closed auctions .
maybe just timing hurt the sale ,
it is a nice looking rifle
also [:I] I have found if I want something I can justifie it to my self to pay what ever I think is a good price [:D]
