Hot garbage and strawberries

Stopped by Walmart and in the air I smelled strawberries and hot garbage. Strawberry fields are like half a mile away and the dumps is like a mile beyond that. Since the dump is now playing around making compost it's an odd smell.

Yosh, I was afraid you were about to post that you were reduced to eating "Strawberries and Hot Garbage." [:0][B)][xx(]

I'm there with you Brother, if I win that 10ga. Over/Under that Kasey is offering, I'll be on the Strawberry and Hot Garbage diet myself. [^]

Okay I'll ask. Who made the shotgun that would make you eat hot garbage and strawberries?

It's an Italian made 10 ga. Over/under imported by Armsport. 33" barrels, full (wide) vent rib, engraved (waterfowl) silver receiver. Did not need it, but I wanted to add it to the collection. [:0][B)]

It appears I will be High Bidder around 8pm. If i get outbid, so be It. It does not appear that is going to happen.

    A Kasey/Locust Fork auction.

Not as pricey as your Whitefeather Yosh. A stretch for me at the moment though. Oh well, I'll recover. (If won.)

84Bravo1 - Ah one of those couldn't really afford it, but bought it. Kind a similar situation where you might've been good if someone out bid you and in my case if the people concerned said no to the terms [:D][:D][:D].

Join me in the dark side of Top Ramen Diet [:D][:D][:D].

Yes, LOL. I'm in the "Gee, I hope I get outbid," mode. It does not look like it is going to happen.

No worries, I will have an unusual firearm to add to the collection. I'ts all good. [^]

Whew, just dodged that bullet. I did not think my max bid would pull it. Proved right.

Last night it was warm so I kept the window open while I slept. I awoke to smelling something bad in my room. Did I poop the bed? Butt check. Nope. Did my toilet back up? Kind a hard being it's up stairs but we are living in times of topsy turvy. Nope the toilet's okay.

Then I remembered the dump is making compost. So I guess the wind changed from West to East to North to South during the night. I wonder if this crap will lower my property value? Good thing winter's coming.

we live in the country ( not real country like some of I am jealous of ) just away from a city ) but several years back the farmer that bought the field's around us started using chicken poop for fertilizer, they haul it by the dump truck loads pile it along a fence row about 1/2 behind us until they can spread it
sadly the wind blows from the west majority of the time over the chicken poop toward our house
a fresh rain to wake up the piles or spreading it and we have a wonderful odor for a couple weeks [B)]
the previous farmers used cow manure a much more tolerable smell
oh well its just a few weeks maybe a month each year
