I had to laugh! As he's hammering out the heads of the spike, he's using a set of hoof nippers to hold the work!

Well, I am no blacksmith. At all. But, it seemed to me, that for a poor boy set up, he did a pretty good job.

I liked his low cost set up on the forge and tools , true American sprit use what you have and make it work .
