always great to see such good things our tax dollars buy for the needy makes me feel like giving more [:(!][:(!][:(!]
not far from us Dayton Ohio
from the article "Sharkey?s Lounge had its liquor permit revoked on Thursday after an investigators with the Ohio Liquor Control Commission found that undercover agents were able to purchase drugs and lap dances using food stamp benefits. "

Glad they caught them
now just need to go back on all the cards that have been processed there, take away their benfits.....
Common sense solutions won't be heard with this reich.
It is now a ELECTRONIC BENEFITS CARD to alleviate embarrassment by the freeloader, benefit recipient. It operates just like a Visa or Mastercard.
A book of stamps used to buy only wholesome food and things like toilet paper would be much better. Things like Tyson Frozen microwave ready chicken would not be on the list, a whole chicken would be. Beef steaks should be round steak, not T-bone.
It is beyond contemptible.
Your Tax dollars at Work, my *.
The entire program, with a few exceptions, is Pathetic. People who do not, and are not willing to work, get free Sheeit from those of us who are.

Yep
Over 1/2 of every dollar many of us earn goes directly or indirectly to government in some form of tax.
I for one pity those being beat to death with the taxes to pay for all this free crap.

Those welfare Blocks of Cheese back in the day were damn good in my opinion.

I'd prefer they return to dispensing what was called "commodities" from a distribution center. Things like a bag of flour, sugar, a gallon can of peanut butter, crackers, block hard cheese, etc. INSTEAD of a trip to the grocery store.
That is where a neighbor widow lady got food assistance back in the 50's. The containers were marker from the US Government like military 'C' rations were and today's MRE's.
