My Dog Is Amazing

He can not hear the UPS truck but he can hear you get a treat out of his box or open a bag that might have treats for him.

He can be sound asleep and i put my hand in an open bag of dog bones and he will hear it.

Also he is the worst watch dog ever.

Sascha my German Shepherd could hear a cat walk through the yard. The 2 dogs are like night and day with their personalities. I still miss Sascha.[:(]

    My wife used to know I was on my way home a fair amount of time before I arrived. Her little tiny toy poodle could tell the sound of my car from a very long way off. Hummm, now that I think about it that may have been the reason I always meeting the milk man driving out of our neighborhood on my way in. [:D]

    Donna said that the dogs get up and sit by the door, whining, when my truck is about a block away. Every dog we had did that. It is amazing how they can distinguish different car sounds and know it is you coming from far away. They too can here the sound of me getting them a treat but otherwise ignore us if we call them. Say the word cookie, and they will run you over on the way to the kitchen cabinet, where they are kept.[:D][:D][:D] The more people I meet, the more I love my dogs. Oh, by the way, I don't treat people like dogs though.

    My lab can be sound a sleep but open a cracker box and he's settin on your feet. I think he'd let you pack the place off if you had a box of crackers.

    my dogs bark at every one . even us its like a game for them .
    at night when the dogs are asleep two rooms away If I open any thing to eat there waiting on me at my chair wide eyed and ready to go .
    and like kids If I give one any thing in the kitchen that one will take it to show it off or they sniff its breath and then all of them are staring me down WTH is ours .

    not going to be during my life time but some day they will decode what the dogs are thinking and trying to say to us ( I know we get the general idea from them like food, go out , attention, scratch my back )
