just finished the build ran 40 rounds thru it after dark a couple nights ago ran smooth and no hiccups , just shooting about 30 feet out into the ground , so I will still need to punch some paper in the next few weeks with it .
1st one I pieced together .
was fun to round up parts I watched for deals like the Timmy trigger 75.00 the upper and lower were 49.00 each the barrel was just over a 100.00 so I did keep cost down and picked up a few nice parts for it
if you have not built one do it is all I can add
** I did have to cut one coil of the bolt catch spring off , it had too much pressure for the magazine to overcome and work correctly

How do you like the stock? I was considering one of those or a Ace Skeleton stock to replace my standard stock on my .450 Bushmaster.

as for the stock I bought a colt m4 it had one on it so I just kept the theme going with the other ar's that way they all feel the same . it locks up tight and has a adjustment lever that allows it to do that .
they were selling for 100.00 bucks or so but now if you watch 40.00 will get one ( the last one I paid 38.00 for it ) some have colt on them also as they came on the rifles but rogers super stock is what there called and branded as such .
my son just bought some sniper magpul ? stock I would guess he gave over 200.00 maybe 250.00 but it has multiple adjustments and a mono pod that drops out the tail of the stock
I do not need a sniper tacool stock so mine do just fine [:D]
I do like the looks of the Ace stocks , I still have another stripped lower so I will see ,
AS fort the back ground I was ordering some parts from midway they had these cases for 16.00 clearance so I bought three gave my son one
they fold out almost big enough for a shooting mat .

Looking good! [8D] I really like the background for the picture as well.

Man am I jealous. My son wants one so bad he can taste it, but cannot afford it going to school. Enter dad. I am going to try and build one and will get in touch with you about finding parts. I know nothing about these black guns. I am a lever guy[;)][;)][;)] It looks really cool.We cannot have a collapsible stock, bayonet lug, or more then a 10 round mag.[:(!] welcome to communist NJ. I like a collapsible stock because it allows different size shooters to use it. His arms are longer than mine or his girlfriends. Nice gun Ditch. Oakie
Oakie,
Whenever I get in a black gun argument, I bring up the ease of maintaining/cleaning and the adjustable to fit all size/age shooters. Them are two small things that seem to make the gun-loving, but AR-hating people go, hmm.....

I picked up this brownish black rifle the other day in a trade... DDM4 V7...
