and i'm still alive!!!!!! no, it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. but the first 2 days were kinda tough. almost back to normal now. and no dry sockets, so thats good! just wanted to tell everyone thanks for the advice! i didn't know so many people have had that done. just wanted to say "thank you for your support!!"

    Do you still look like a chipmunk? For the first few days after I had mine pulled (or should I say sawed out) I looked like I had a golf ball in each cheek!Glad to hear you made it out alright!G36

    Glad it went well! I went to the bar the night I got mine pulled.....had a hard time enjoying the beer but it took my mind off the pain!

    Interestingly enough, people have been born without wisdom teeth or just a few of their wisdom teeth in place. My dentist told me that it is a sign that the "use it or lose it" rule of evolution is being proven by this. We are always pulling the darn things out and we don't use them. Hence, we are evolving without them as time progresses according to my dentist.Could this mean that baldness is a sign of a more evolved human being since we don't need hair to keep us warm with all of our technological advances in home heating? I'm not bald! I'm just more evolved than you! I wonder if that would work as a pickup line.

    I had mine out by an oral surgeon with full anesthetic and wouldn't have gone any other way after having one other tooth pulled by a dentist with just novicane... be sure and flush the stump holes out daily with either a syringe or water pic. You'll be amazed at the garbage that floats out.
