Shniwari, who lived in Darra as a refugee for 28 years before he was named chief justice by the newly appointed interim government, said Afghanistan's legal system was based on the Sharia and denied laws enacted by the Taliban would be changed. BACK TO THE SAME OLD DUNG !

I don't quite understand what gas had to do with the war in Afghanistan, but as for the Gulf War...Saddaam and Iraq had every right to Kuwait. Kuwait was forcibly stolen from Iraq as war reparations by Britain after WW1 (Iraq sided with Germany) and Britain then gave them their independence. Iraq just wanted to get back what had been theirs. That being said I'm glad they DONT have it, as then they would have even more oil under their thumbs.I truly believe we went to war in the Gulf not for moralistic, idealistic views, but to protect the free and unfettered flow of fairly cheap oil to the US.
"...hit your enemy in the belly, and kick him when he is down, and boil his prisoners in oil- if you take any- and torture his women and children. Then people will keep clear of you..." -Admiral of the Fleet Lord Fisher, speaking at the Hague Peace Conference in 1899.
