The fate of the Carcano with the bent reciever

It is gone.I couldn't help myself, after beating the right reciever wall back into shape, I took it to the range and fired it tied to a tire, via string, from a distance of 100 yards. I fired progressively hotter loads, starting with the textbook start load for BLC2 and 100gr bullets, then an intermediate load, then a full load, then a full load plus two grains, which started to back the primer out. The gun held up fine. I did not fire the gun from the shoulder however. I sold it at a gunshow today as a parts gun for $50, making it clear to the buyer that the gun had a potential problem but that I had fired it. So I made $15 on it.
