Living in the Pacific Northwest, we've got a lot of quality, regional Ales that you boys in the East will never know the glory of!Here's my overall top 3:1. Henry Weinhard's Private Reserve. (Really any style of it will do for me, but I'm partial to the "Blackberry" flavor. Sounds gross, but it is YUMMY!)2. Miller Genuine Draft in the longneck bottle.3. Corona in the longneck bottle. As a side note, I do NOT drink canned beer. Anyone who drinks canned beer belongs on the Jerry Springer Show!

Shiner BockRolling RockCoronaOff subject a bit . . .Have to agree with Evil on the Henry Weinhards Private Reserve. My sister worked out in Montana for a summer in the early 90's and raved about it. The following summer, we both had vacation around the same time, so I said what the heck, lets drive to OR for a couple of cases of Henry Weinhard's (we lived in Baltimore at the time). It was a great drive across the country and back, but got back with 6 cases in the trunk to find it stocked in our local beer store! I don't know if they still distribute it very far east, though -- I never see it in Dallas. Back in college we drank a lot of Knickerbocker -- it had some strange slogan like "The 100% corn beer" and was about $5 a case. Or some bad Pabst product like Lone Star or Old Mil. In Baltimore, National Bohemian ("Natty Bo") flowed like water and in Santa Fe, there was a lot of Pearl consumed. I always said my epitaph should read:Connoisseur of Bad Beers

I just never could aquire the taste for it. I have no problem with people drinking as long as they don't drink and drive. To many people killed in auto's from it and families destroyed. I work with juvenile deliquent boys and I can tell a kid almost immediately when we get them if they are from an alcoholic family setting. The years of abuse seem to take their toll, the kids are real mental tough and hard to get too, help(treatment wise) it takes a long time to build up trust and get them to open up.

In no particular order:Great Lakes Brewery Dortmunder Gold, Spaten Urmaerzen Oktoberfest, and Paulaner Hefeweizen. I also like a draft Guiness occasionally, and Heinekin if the above odd balls are unavailabe.
"...hit your enemy in the belly, and kick him when he is down, and boil his prisoners in oil- if you take any- and torture his women and children. Then people will keep clear of you..." -Admiral of the Fleet Lord Fisher, speaking at the Hague Peace Conference in 1899.
