I have plenty of elephant ivory scraps leftover from grip making that aren't big/thick enough to make into gun grips so every once in a while I'll do a knife. This is a OSPREY designed by Darrel Ralph (it won New Knife Design of the Year a few years ago). There was quite a bit of inletting on the back side of the scales so I'm really happy to be done with it! When my "star" status or post count gets a little higher should I do a give-away of a custom ivory or stag handled knife such as this?

I've made knives, several, and I'm impressed. Beautiful thing, that.
Clouder..
Very fine bit of handiwork, indeed. [^] How much you want for it? [;)]
I rarely ever sell the ones that I customize/make for myself. I usually use them as demos to show poeple that want me to make grips or knives for them. However, I do custom fabricate scales or grips for people that ask and provide their own knife or can tell me the exact model they want done and purchase the knife up front. I do this more as a hobby than a business so I've been told a 1000 times that I don't charge enough. NOTE: I am not here looking for sales or advertising(as per forum rules)...I just like showing off my toys and getting peoples opinions of them.
If any of the forum members want to see more I'll post a few more pics.
Here is Case xxx Texas Toothpick wearing mastadon(wooly mammoth) ivory that I did for a friends dad last fathers day.
