My wife told me she wants to learn to shoot. I've tried all our married life to interest her in guns without success. Today she said "teach me". Darn right I will!
So many guns to buy. So little money.

Sounds like a good excuse to go to the local gun shop and browse around...Most women figure they will change hubby after a few years of marriage, sometimes they get fooled and it backfires on them, one should take advantage of this metamorphis.

I've taken my dear wife of 31 years to the range, and we've had fun shooting .22's. That's about as big as she wants to go, but that is OK. I'll even let her shoot my Annie Oakley, if I can ever find a used one.It has been fun taking the boys out shooting, too.Bonne Chasse!

Can't really relate to you guys who can't get the Mrs. to the range. Mrs. Mudge will go at the drop of a hammer. She loves to shoot anything. Let her rock 'n roll with the M-16every now and then but she can make that pretty expensive. Won't let go of the damn trigger.Mudge

My Wife likes going to the range, but only on sunny days, She doesn't like to get cold. So hunting up here in the North-West is out for her. She also asked me the other day to go, cause she wanted to practice with my little 357. That suprized me a little. What suprized me more was, she shoots alot better than I do with it. Thats a good thing as this is the one she keeps at night when I work. Here is a question. Are there special speed loaders for the Colt Magnum Carry? The regular 357/38 hang up on the rubber grips and do not allow the rounds to line up quikly. They are still faster than single round by round, but since she insists on keeping it unloaded (which irritates hell out of me) I want it to be a quik and easy load. I think the cylinder does not come out as far as others or the grips in that area are wider.
