How many hours do you have in it?
(edit) I see you added another pic, while I was getting ready to post. Makes a WORLD of difference. Great looking cabinet.
Nope, "drinkin and thinkin" hours don't count. [;)][:D]
About 10-15
Looks great. That is my future hobby, I dabble now. Oh, to have the time. Someday.
Nice!! Kinda makes me want to un-retire my woodshop.

BlueTic,
That's a really nice display cabnit. That red oak?
I've got a little wood working project going myself. I started it in early winter at my buddies shop. We are building what we call liquor lockers. I've learned a lot and have developed a real appreciateion for those who have the skill/ability to build things like this. It really is art. I'd say I'm a little less than half done at this point. At the pace I'm woking now (on rainy day weekends) it'll probably take me till next winter to have it done.
Where I'm at now (yes that's walnut)
Neat eh?!
Close to what it'll look like once completed (I hope)!
Yes Red Oak, is some what hard - I have to pre-drill holes for the hardware screws and run a tap in, so I don't bugger up the screw head. Here's some other projects I did for Mrs.Blue (Pine hutch and oak side tables)
