Hunting Handguns

I've been looking into purchasing a handgun for coyote hunting or even just plinking at things. I have been considering the Remington XP in .22-250 or a Savage Super Striker with the laminate stock in the same caliber. Any suggestions or comments on the two firearms from personal experience?

I've killed 2 coyotes and a dog with my Glock 19, but I don't think it's much of a hunting gun, I just happened to get close enough to the coyotes when they were too occupied eating a baby calf to notice me...the dog...long story.

I like the way Savage puts the bolt handle on the LEFT side of the gun.

Idsman, the bolt on the left is great, I guess. I am backwards as I shoot left-handed. NOTHING is made for us that doesn't cost extra. The laminate stock looks great though.
