Our first day of spring in WI is 35 and overcast. We had a tiny amount of snow last night and are suppose to get just a bit more. When will the sun shine brightly, it has been soooo long!

Blue ticCall off the snow, I gota go farming one of these days. It's getting kinda late for us, altho farmers will never complain about enough moisture, we are allready 6" above normal. Did ya see they closed Stevans and Snoqualmie pass last nite for avalanche control. Gaud I'd hate to be stuck in that line of traffic overnite when their blasting snow.

Not only were the passes closed overnight, the word is it will not open until at least 4 pm this afternoon. I have worked at DOT since 1994, so heres hoping it doesn't end up like 96 when the pass was closed for a week.

Since you folks out there in WA have more than normal ground water levels, how about you send some of it east? We have the first official drought of my lifetime in NH. Preferably as rain, not snow. Don't have to shovel rain.

Well at least the chill factor stayed above zero (+8) today. We are in the middle of replacing a roof on one of the storage tanks at the refinery. Got the plates up there yesterday and tried to start welding today. Wind was just a bit too much. Yeah I saw the news about the passes, glad I'm not on the road.
