NR bidder bidding

I am currently selling some ammo and received a bid from a NR bidder. Is there anyway I can check if he is a true bidder? Or do I have to "take my chances" on him. His name is "DELETED". I am skeptical.

We all start somewhere.
every bidder is a risk. a bidder with a thousand + feedback could renege on a bid tomorrow. in fact, im sure that tomorrow there will be a well experienced bidder that get a NPB tomorrow.
we all start at zero. list your item, if it sell wait for the payment. if you dont get payed, file the appropriate charges, relist and try again. its going to happen to you at some point. its part of the cost of doing business in this type of venue.
But do post your auctions on the Forum, stir up a little more interest. Folks here call such posts a "Shameless Plug".
The worst that could happen with an NR Bidder is that he doesn't send you the money.
I see the only 'chances' you are taking is that you may have to re-list the item.
Not everyone starts out with 20 positive feedbacks.

Sure am glad when I started as a NR bidder the sellers went ahead and let me bid.
..Exactly. Plus, I made a mistake on my very first buy, bidding too much, as I was not familiar with the system. I manned up and paid the price. I haven't had a bit of trouble in over ten years. You just have to put out some trust at the beginning.

If the auction is finalized is a good way be sure to give him a good feedback with a write up.
Why are you so concerned about this? You are not really in any jeopardy.
Too old to live...too young to die...
I noticed that all these comments are pretty old ones.I believe in different times different rules.GB should have a waiting period before new buyers can bid.Like always its the minority that makes it hard for the rest, but times have changed. This could work from both sides as well.If a seller wants to up the bid on his item they could get someone to make up a new profile and start bidding immediately.
