Maybe I am out of touch and this has been discussed but this bump fire mechanism is amazing! My buddy has one and it is a real hoot to shoot!!!

    the aft ban the predecessor to this some years ago AFTER initially approving it! poor basturd went to production and lost everything when they reversed the decision.
    the new ones have been out for a couple years now. 100 bucks last i checked (last year)
    for $30 you can get a little gizmo that mounts behind the trigger with a piece of spring steel in it. i have one somewhere, never used it.
    for free you can learn to bump fire an ar without any gizmos. it's not hard.

    You can't bumpfire from the shoulder as far as I know.

    This works by using forward pressure on the forearm instead of a spring as on the Akins.
