White out conditions, very strong winds, drifting snow...the first good snow of the season...and I have to leave for work in a few hours! Hope I don't get trapped there!

    Just found out they shut down Interstate 90, so it must be pretty bad out there! I only have a two mile drive to work and its all a main street, so it shouldn't be too rough.

    For the last 10 years or so I have been staying in Lusk for a night or two on my way to the rally. I've gotten to know some of the local folks. No way I would want to spend a winter out there. Be careful.

    It is North of you as well. Not as intense but western N.D. is getting its winter snow.

    Survival gear is the key. Coffee can with candles (and a match) water, sleeping bag, gator aide and some goodies to eat. Shovel does't hurt either, but stay with the car. Lost a neighbor a few years back that didn't.

    Hey Lusk WY is a cool place, use to met the relatives there when I was a kid so they could drop grandma off to come north for the summer and then in the fall we would met so she could winter in New Mexico.

    Ranchero, I-90 runs from Western South Dakota thru Wyoming to the Montana border. Heading west from SD, you go thru Sundance, Gillette, Buffalo and Sheridan, Wyoming all on I-90

    I was never able to get that far north cause of the snow........ Nice to know where its at, though, Thanks! Think I'll stay on 80 or SOUTH of it........Hahahahaha!!!
