No Ammo at Fred Meyer's unless..........

..........you need BB's or Shotgun shells. I used to stop when I needed something to test out a caliber I didn't have or make of my own. I wouldn't be a regular customer of any ammo store, but I do find it peculiar they don't have any now. Used to be able to buy Rifle or Handgun Ammo in a decent selection of either.......Now there is NONE!!! Went there yesterday!

Still got Wally World and they are very reasonable. Just seems weird all the stores seem to be quitting ammo sales! Think maybe we had better stock up? Anybody else got a Fred Meyer's in their area? Do they still sell ammo?

Our Fred Meyer store stopped selling ammo over a year ago. Just as well, the damn stuff was so over-priced I doubt they sold any of it at all.

That ticks me off, really! Meyer's was the place to shop for me for years, and even held off WalMart in our local town, in fact they give WalMart a serious run for their money, so much so they can build right across from them and not worry. Not anymore, not for me. No ammo, no shopping there. I'll go to WalMart when I get back home.[:(]

Just checked today--Tumwater, Wa Freddie's has pistol ammo from .22 thru .45. Didn't check prices too closely, but seems 9mm ball ammo was $7.95

Seems like it might be a "liability" thing or they don't have permanent employees they can train to check age for young people. Walmarts question of, "Is this Rifle or HandGun ammo" is to check on those under 21 but over 18........Anyway, seems like Fred Meyer's would do the same everywhere......not ammo here, but not there. The store I went into was in Salt Lake City, and I have bought ammo before there......but not anymore as there isn't any!
