Saying thankyou to our Military

We buried my Step-Father yesterday, on what would have been His 78th birthday. An Honorguard came over to the grave site to honor the 43 years of service to His country. (20 years U.S. Navy, senior Chief Petty Officer, 23 years of service with Civil Service, Planning Officer, SupsShipJax). I was impressed by their display and wanted to say to as many people as possible that it was very much appreciated.
A man of very high intelligence that could be counted on when you needed him.
He will be missed.

    Thanks to all, especially for the prayers for my Mother. She is lost and just doesn't know which way to turn. One day at a time for now. David
