My wife uses hotmail for her personal e-mail. She could log on fine from our home computer until 3 days ago. Now it just goes to the page not found thing. Can log on fine from my son's computer in the next room. Yesterday I tried to pay a couple of bills online, and could not get their pages to open. Again, worked fine on the sons. What has happened? SOunds like a security setting or something? I have no clue. Thanks!

I have no idea what happened but ~ I no longer get picture of any kind on the net, in fact my background for the desk top disappared.Wherever there should be a picture or icon such as new topic, etc all I get is the block and a little square in the upper left hand corner. It has a square, circle, and a triangle of different colors inside it.Any ideas, suggestions, help!If so use the KISS method as I am computer challenged.

win,If you're using Internet Explorer for your browser; pull down the "Edit" menu, choose "preferences" find "Web content" under that and see if "show pictures" is on. Netscape explorer will also have the option of turning off the pictures, but you'll have to hunt for where that is using the option buttons along the top of your screen. If that does not work, you had better state the machine and operarating system you're using using (although I can only help you then if you're using a Mac).

just looked it up,if you're using Netscap Navigator 3--you'll probably need to choose "Options" then make sure "Auto Load Images is checked"if you're using Netscap Comm./Navigator 4: choose "edit" then "Preferences" then "Advanced" then make sure "Automatically Load Images" is chosen. If you're using AOL, then all I can say is: I'm sorry...(and don't let people mess with your computer!)

Thanks for the reply BUT ~ I went browsing through my programs and found something called System Restore. Clicked on it and picked a date prior to the start of the problem. All seems to be well again.ThanksFrank
