25 yards

I read an article where a man made 2 holes with a Steyr M40 touch each other at 25 yards with two shoots. But the way he said it made it seem like shooting that was normal. Am I just a really bad shot or is that some good shooting?

Though I've always been a good shot with a rifle, I'm a horrible shot with a handgun. If I can get everything inside of a dinner plate sized circle at 25 yards, with 1 or 2 out of 8 outside, I am pleased with myself, though I shouldn't be.

That's nice shootin'....but doesn't prove much.Normally groups are measured a in 5-shot series.I remember one time I was testing handloads with a buddy. First shot was in the X-ring. Second shot was a real "flyer"....missed the target entirely....of course, I claimed it went thru the same hole!

I can hit the broad side of a barn with 5 shots, but only if i am inside the barn.
