    As one who has worn the exact same gear (except we use fresh air bottles) while welding on heater ducts in a Hydrocracker unit, this person is sweatin their * off..

    Generally speaking, hauling HAZMAT these days is enough to make you sweat, with or without the added protection gear.DOT officials are really going over them with a fine tooth comb, and stopping as many of them as they can. Used to be, because of the nature of the freight, and the libilities, they knew the trucks were legal, and the drivers also. Now, they are looking them over all the time.
