saw it on tv last night, i thought it was pretty good. i love the line at the very end when the sheriff is telling the nephew what he thought happened,

"near as i can tell they tried flying the bi-plane through this barn upside down"

Saw it again last night with the entire family. That is the best thing about this movie. They don't make many that are this good, and still be able to watch it with your kids.

It was one of many very good deleted scenes. One of the alternate endings was better than the one they showed in theaters.

One of my fav's, like in the resturant when the kid pulls a knife on Garth, he takes it away from him and says "no, you hold it like this" then gives it back to him to try again.

The amazing part of this movie is that it's both a comedy and deeply serious at the same time. So many subtle lessons on what's really important in life. Every time I view it I see something I'd missed previously... And the end is fitting.
