well, I'd recommend if your local range has one of each then trying them out and see which one is comfortable to YOU. All are good weapons so basically the only answers you will get would be what's comfortable to someone else.

Depending on your size, I would not consider any of your choices concelable. But that's just me my choice would be a Kel-Tec 9mm.It weighs less loaded than any of your choices do empty.

greetings, i just don't see the mystic of the "plastic weapons" give me alloy or steel, i would check out a ruger p-series before i spent money on ero/trash. not that i don't think the're good weapons, just over engineered like most german weapons. and over priced , you can buy two p-94s for what you pay for one walther. i will say the glocks are getting more competative, but still out there. respt submitted dads-freehold

I would at least shop around and see if you find any thing you like over the other. But I recommend trying the Beretta 9000s,its a ten + 1 round gun in .40 or 9mm.

The Walther's manual of arms is rather odd, with a decock "button." The XD appears to be a nice gun but I think you'll find it's larger than the Glock 19, which is a compact, and the XD has that grip safety which I prefer not to mess with. I would not want my gun to fail to fire if I had a tenuous handhold on it in a pinch.

So personally, I would say the most robust and most compact choice would be the Glock, though it is the least pretty of the three by far. I know of absolutely nothing wrong with the XD, but I think it's bigger, an issue for concealment. I would put the Walther down in third place. Not a bad gun, but third of those you are considering. Frankly, if you are looking at a 19, I would look at a 23 in the .40 caliber as well, by the way.

Have experience with only the Glock of the three you asked about.Great and reliable gun.If you are comfotable with the safe action trigger and the feel of the grip you can't beat it.If conceablity is not a factor try a Ruger P95.It is a little bigger than the Glock put is half the price.I got one a couple of months ago and find it to be as reliable and a little more accurate than my Glock.CW

You didn't specify your needs, and what you were going to use the gun for. Home protection? Concealed carry? Paper weight? I have a Glock 23(.40,$499), Ruger P-94(.40,$300+), Kel-Tec P-40($300-), I love them all. The Glock for winter concealed or days you wear a vest or outer garment, I just got the Kel-Tec(month ago) but it is light thin and I feel after 400 rds is completely reliable, so I am using it for warmer days, I might even make it my exclusive carry gun. The p-94 Ruger is too Bulky and heavy for concealed but a great home defense gun, which in turn makes it a great paper-weight...That way it is easily accessible(Don't use it as such if you have kids!!!) This is my own two cents, but hopefully you will be willing to give it back(because I am broke)

HE HE! Aren't I an *! I said you didn't say what kind of weapon you were looking for, then I actually read the title of the thread. Wow what you will miss if you don't pay attention to detail. I think I would go for the Kel-Tec.

On the theory that you get what you pay for, I would by-pass the Kel Tec and go for the Glock compact, one of the three he asked about.

If you have narrowed the decision down to the two firearms you listed, I would go with the Glock.

I have yet to buy a Glock, but Christmas is comming I tell my wife. The Kel Tec is very very light. Depending on how big a guy you are (I'm just 150#, 155 with beer) carrying for 6 hours, the weight becomes a real issue. Just my opinion.

On the other hand you could go with a GLOCK 36!

My carry is a Colt Commander Lightweight. Mrs. Mudge carries a Glock 30. She's only 5'2" and 125lbs. If she can carry a Glock, so can you. I know these weren't in your list of choices but I don't care. Those 9's and .40's and such are "wimp" guns anyway.

Along the same lines has anyone tried the Magnum Research Jericho? Similar to the Baby Eagle. It is priced very reasonable and I might be interested in one. My CZ-85 is not quite what you would call "concealable". I carry it in the vehicle when I travel and it spends it's nights with me beside the bed.

I know for a fact the Baby eagle is not the most concealable handgun out there. If the Jericho is anything like the BE, it's a very heavy gun!
