What do you think the chances are? It seems likely if these attacks continue...Input? Onions?

They already took control of the air...they took control of all navigational waters ( as per Karen Hughs )...another hit or two,you will see roadblocks on the highways. They closed major roads in Okc.for several hours earlier today...

Martial law would be giant step and IMHO a line none of us would want to cross. If the attacks were to continue and be land based (car bombs, fires, shootings), yes martial law may be possible, but at what cost to our future? I have trouble seeing how putting armed troops in the streets would do any good at this point. Once that line is crossed how do we get back?

They would just love for us to do that. No you might see martial law in certain areas like NY or Washington for a while, but what we need to do is ID the gulity and take them out, all the way out.

And what will this mean in regards to the Second Amendment? Technically, during martial law, the JBT's could go door to door and confiscate ALL privately owned firearms. They'd be well within the "law" in doing so.So, what will ya' do when "FEMA" (read BATF in a different outfit) comes to your door during this crisis?

Think about it...it's a paradise for the gun-grabbers. It's probably why we haven't heard a peep from Fiendstein, Kennedy, and Schumer, Inc.Paranoia? Only if they're not after you!

The Fed gov has always had authority over navigable waterways, airways, and roadways. They are just flexing that muscle that has always been there, ask any boat captain, pilot, or trucker. Don't confuse that with martial law.

FAA has always directed planes at what altitudes they can fly and what direction. Vessels are regulated by the Coast Guard, which in fact does not need any type of search warrants to conduct its buisness, they also have Customs authority. On land the DOT has authority on interstate commerce, which mostly truck drivers abide by by purchasing permits to transport. Some states like NH have the authority to inspect your vehicle if they suspect you of purchasing over a certain amount of goods there and transporting them over state lines. If you are suspected of transporting illegal items across state lines or waters you fall under the feds. Martial law does not need to be declared for them to do what they need to.

Gurn:The thread was directed at what the implications of martial law would have on the 2nd Amendment. Don't think for one minute that Schumer, Keneddy, Clinton, etc are having a spurt of patriotism. They're plotting.Wanna call me paranoid? You would have 48 hours ago if I said Bin Laden's monkeys would be able to get simultaneous control of 4 jets. I'm refering to official martial law here, not the fact that JBT's are free to screw with us daily. I don't need a culture lesson from you or anyone else.

I think the liberal gun grabbers are secretly oiling up their own smoke poles about right now. WWIII could be just around the corner folks, not an alarmist, just a realist. From all the interviews I've seen on TV, even the young leftist liberals are spitten mad and want a strike at the heart of these terrorists. I think it would be bad timing for the gun grabbers to make any sort of a move right now, when all these innocent UNARMED Americans were taken advantage of by razor blade and plastic knife weilding terrorists. Especially when One trained, ,ie:gun totin conservative, could have thwarted these attacks, I don't think the Liberals want this fact pointed out.

I've got relatives that live in NY and they can't believe how much noise those F-16's and Hueys make when they cruise over your house. They said it sounds like Beruit.

I have heard the martial laws rumors, also the idiots that are trying to use this as an excuse to gun grab in the country. Threw the ideas out to some LEO's and military types I know. Unanimous reaction was- F**** that, they'll NEVER get my guns. So maybe the question isn't IF but by WHO? If the people in charge of enforcing the martial law are die hard pro 2nd ammendment, just who are they going to be worried about? Their friends and neighbors with a shotgun or two?

Another thought- I live across the street (Literally) from WPAFB, Logistical Air Command Headquarters; have it one pretty good authority that yes Air Force One was here, and the Air Command Plane and crew are sequestered on the base. The closest thing we had to a roadblock was all the morons lining up for gas. And know what? It isn't anymore expensive today than it was Tuesday night. So maybe its all just hype. One bright spot- the school has encouraged the kids to wear red white and blue tommorrow. And this is a public school. So maybe there's hope forthe country after all.

Oh, Brad, that was funny. First time I laughed all week, thanks man.FYI, I walked thru downtown Chicago on Tuesday and Wednesday, and it was a ghost town of 6 million indoors. The shops were closed, the streets virtually empty, and Navy fighter jets roared overhead (LOUD!) Tonight, the Hancock Building was light at the top in red, white and blue lights. It looked like a great big middle finger, poking out of the Midwest, to those bastards.

Brad, Homer and Co.:If you've got something contructive to add to the conversation, by all means, post it. Instead of calling me silly little schoolyard names, trying exercising your pee brains and tell me WHY you think I'm nuts.Otherwise, shut the Hell up.

So you're aware, you were obviously not missed during your self-imposed exile. Do the board a favor and go back to whatever hole you've been in the past several months. You obviously have nothing worthwhile to contribute.

Come on, EvilATF, explain why you are so sane, and why we are nuts. Also include full descriptions of why so many of us left, (insert your picture.)Dude, when (not if) I was the Mick Jagger of GB, at the beginning, then you, my friend, are the uncredited keyboard player of a garage band. You, and your perpetual moronism, looks more like a warning than an example.Stop pissing on my ankles, sonny.

One more time, for those of you that cannot read, the topic was originally a "What if?" thread. "Do you think it is possible that martial law will be declared? Yes? No? Maybe so?"WTF is all the "paranoia" BS coming from? Now I'm paranoid because I ask a question? If you really think that there's NO possibility of martial law being declared should a mass of ground attacks (car bombings, riots, etc) arise, then you're delusional. You can't have it both ways, fellas.Homer:1. You hint that the reason you left was because of me. If so, I take pride in knowing that I drove a retard such as yourself away from here. 2. You won't impress anyone here with your registration date or your number of posts. Get a life.3. Take your cheerleader Bradf111 with you when you leave again, son. It shouldn't be too hard to remember him since he's got his nose lodged so far up your *.

Where is Sheriff Mole? He's 'posed a be keeping the peace! Dag'nabit that does it I'm temporarily taking my position back for the rest of this thread... Sherrif Monkey carefully slid his left hand over the Smith & Wesson 8 & 3/8 Stainless 44 Magnum on his hip and leaned back in his chair. All eyes in the town hall were fixed on Evil Atf and the Homer Boys. "Like I said boy, Thankin' that the gov'ment gonna instatoot marshoul law is just raet stupid!" says Homer. Evil, not being one to walk away from a fight sprang to his feet revealing to Semi-Automatic Sars hidden beneath his trench coat. Homer, Gurn, and Bradf111 slid their hands down unto their holsters. Mom Mom, Josey and Gotie Thumper reached for their steel. Mudge stands up and says "The personal attacks have gone WWAAAYYY beyond what should be allowed in this Town Hall". Select Fire is seen slow sliding to the floor as is High Ball and others. Bang!!! A shot from one of Evil's Sars sends Mudge diving to the floor cursing and screaming. "YOU LIKED TO HIT ME YOU DAD BLAMED YOUNGEN!" screamed Mudge. Evil, temporarily distracted by Mudges humorous cries quickly turns around to meet the Homer's 12 Gauge stage coach shotgun, Bradf111's Snubby and Gurn's straw loaded with spitballs of common sense...
