Need some help on gun laws in OK...

...Can an adult (under the age of 21 - state resident) carry a handgun in their vehicle, on a daily basis, without a concealed carry permit?

Can you legally keep one locked in your glove box or case?

Thanks,
Bryan

www.packing.org tries to list state laws on keeping gun in car but you should check with ok ag's office to be sure.

    The quick answer: NO

After the right to carry passed in OK it became
a felony to carry a loaded gun in your car.

Try the OSBI site for more information.

    Thanks for the help, guys.

It is my understanding that you have to be 23 to apply for CCP in OK.

You need to be 23 for an OK CCW permit. On transporting a firearm unless you have a CCW it must be unloaded with ammunition out of the immediate control (reach) of the occupants. If you do have a weapon on you (CCW's) You must inform the officer immediatley when he approaches the vehicle ,and follow his instructions exactly.
