About 14-15 years ago my brother was hunting in Idaho. He was on top of a hill looking down the valley when he saw an elk. He aimed and fired and it dropped. He rode down into the valley and started working on the elk. He looked up and saw a bear on the top of hill from were he and the elk were. He had a bear tag so he decides to take it also. He aims his rifle and fires and the bear turns and starts to come down the hill toward him. He fired 3 more times and the bear was still coming. He reaches in and pulls out his 44 magnum Ruger and fires 5 more times. He's beginning to think about using the last one on himself when he notices the bears legs are'nt moving. The first shot had killed him and gravity and a wet clay path had done the rest. He had put nine shots into this animal and everyone was a killing shot. He about wet his britches and fainted when it wouldn't stop.
