    Do you sell K-Bars? If so, where can I go to purchase one? I definately want one to hang on my LCE/Survival Vest. Thanks for the article.

    I have a beat-to-death Ka-Bar that my Dad carried in WWII, that I've been gently trying to restore, without destroying its' character. It served him well.

    Pa-

    I have one of the common Kabar U.S.M.C knives with the leather grip/sheath and have used it extensively for anything from building bows to gutting. Only other knife i use besides my S&W folder. I just want to say thanks for a great product that has served me well and keep up the good work!

    Good story pa. I used to be in that unit back in 89-92, we deployed to Northern Iraq also. We made 2 jumps into northern Iraq with then LTC Abizaid as our Battalion Commander (he is now 4 star Gen Abizaid in command of CENTCOM) It wasnt the mess then that it is now over there though......

    I used to have a k-bar but it had a rigid green plastic scabbard instead of the leather sheath. Any idea what model it was?

    I need another k-bar too, man you can put an edge on those things.

    That was a good post. I have 2 k-bars and I use both for deer hunting when I started hunting deer didnt know you was supposed to use small knifes.I have never cut myself or gut cut a deer with either one and I keep them sharp enough to shave with.

    I also have my Dads K-bar that went thru WWII. Knife and sheath are around 90%. Sharpest knife I've ever seen.
