new deal out that the prisons are to be air conditioned...says they are to hot for the guards...now kansas has a death penalty...BUT... never uses it because it is to cruel...Carr bros executed 5 and almost killed another but it was to cruel to put them down...pedophile from newton strangled a young mother and her 4 year old daughter... he may get the death sentence but it will NEVER be applied so he will get to live in comfort now..oh forgot...the Carr bros played jailhouse lawyer for 16+ years till they got the STUPID state supremes to vacate their death sentence...you can hear them laughing all the way west to Colorado

Oregon the State as a whole voted for the Death Penalty. But the Governor thinks it wrong so these guys are now dying of old age.

The last executions in Kansas were Hickock and Smith. After that the death penalty was voted out. For years we tried to get it reinstated. It finally passed the senate and house and went to the governor's desk. John Carlin stated that the people of Kansas didn't really know what they wanted so he vetoed it. Years later it was passed, but it works like a pee pee on a steer. I think Texas has a much better understanding of the death penalty.
