I wrapped up a transaction today, sold my Whitworth Express 458 Win. Mag. I wont miss shooting it, cause it kicked so much I didnt, to be honest with you. But I will miss it just being here. It was the most beautiful gun I've ever had in my collection, European Walnut, deep beautiful gloss blue finish, even though there were some obvious machining marks on the trigger guard. Kind of mixed feelings about selling a gun like that. Kicked so much it wasnt fun to shoot, but was so darn powerful you liked knowing it was there just in case. Well, sounds like I didnt want to sell it huh? I didnt, wasnt trying, but the Wanted Forum here sold it for me, when I answered an add saying I had one, and the guy offered me a LOT more than what I paid for it, and even more than Blue Book. Guess thats the way things go sometimes. Just in time actually, cause I bought that M1A right after I sold that .458. Only thing is, even though I'm sure the M1A will shoot alright, I havent shot it yet, it sure wont ever look as nice as that .458. I guess I better stop crying, she was just a 'trophy wife', was a bit** to play with, he, he, he, he. Well, I'm leaving in the AM, see you guys in about 11 days. Gotta get ready for the good old home town gun store browsing, cant wait. Ryan

Guns only have two enemies: Rust and Liberals....
If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.
The sound of a 12 gauge pump clears a house fatser than Rosie O eats a Big Mac !
One thing for sure, you will begin to regret the decision to sell. It's just a matter of time. I've been there too many times to think otherwise.

If you will blame gun makers for every shooting then blame car maker for every car accident.
