Just saw the post regarding Michigan and was curious as to who lives in Illinois.

The 7th circuit court struck down Illinois' ban on concealed carry just days ago and gave IL lawmakers 180 days to pass a carry bill. Sadly, we couldn't even have a week to celebrate a victory that we've been waiting decades to achieve, before another school massacre had to happen.

Talk about going from an extreme high to an extreme low. I knew things were simply going "too right" in the World to last for long.

Someone for Illinois won one of my auctions for some 7.62x51. Anything special I need to worry about for the sale?? According to the folks on this board that state is as bad as commiefornia.

Illinois requires a FOID card to purchase ammo. You might want to get a phot copy of the buyers FOID card before you ship it.

As said above, I would get a copy of the Foid card. Other than that you are fine to ship here to IL.

That's a commonly accepted myth, but not true. The only rounds that are illegal in Illinois are "explosive bullets" defined as
"explosive bullet" means the projectile portion of an ammunition cartridge which contains or carries an explosive charge which will explode upon contact with the flesh of a human or an animal. "Cartridge" means a tubular metal case having a projectile affixed at the front thereof and a cap or primer at the rear end thereof, with the propellant contained in such tube between the projectile and the cap
