I now have running water

I just hooked up running water in my shop and have installed a laundry tub sink with drain.

The problem is I only have cold water right now.
Is it worth the extra 300.00 to install a mini water heater to obtain hot water for hand washing?

When I built my last shop I didn't bother with hot water. It doesn't get that cold in So Kalif.

Here in Idaho, the boiler that heats the place (plastic tubes run thru the concrete) also provides hot water to the bathroom.

How far is your shop from the house?

Here in Idaho it's 66' from house to shop. The house and shop each have their own boiler.

Buy a cheap hotplate from a goodwill store and heat your water with it.

Less money by far, and less work.

There are also inexpensive ways to provide solar hot water..

There are also on demand water heaters that heat only what you use.
