    that's the over all weight, but since a stripped aluminium lower only weighs 8.85 oz anyway, they are comparing their complete lower to a "standard" lower, which i question what they are using or their definition of "standard"


    personally its not the back end weight i am worried about

    It's not like there's alot of stress put on the lower so it will probably hold up fine.

    On the compsite fire control group, is the hammer composite too? That would worry me, especially since the torture test they demonstrated was not allowing for the hammer to strike as it would in real use.

    Not too sure it's worth the 7oz weight reduction.
